Dani KusNer

Dani is an agronomist by trade, and a certified crop advisor (CCA # 382599.) She currently serves as the Outreach Specialist for OGRAIN, the Organic Grain Resource and Information Network, based out of the The University of Wisconsin Madison, where responsibilities include educational program planning and resource development. She spent the prior five years leading the Andersons Inc. in establishment of the midwest’s first organic warehouse servicing conventional row crop agriculture’s existing distribution channels. She managed the organic strategy, provided transition to organic consulting to customers, and was the education lead on carbon product technologies, including humic acid, fulvic acid and biochar.

Dani has a broad range of skills, including soil and leaf tissue analysis, nutrient management, product sales, and consulting. Her expertise of core disciplines in soil biology and organics is unique among agronomists. She loves the niche of being the intermediary to translate and teach farm production knowledge between different audiences, such as a farmer, fertilizer manufacturer, or CPG. Dani earned a degree in Sustainability Studies from The University of Dayton in 2008 and since then, has been on a journey of healing food production.
